The museum’s research specialists have many years experience, not only with the Royal Irish Fusiliers and it’s predecessors but with British and Colonial Regiments in general. Although the bulk of research undertaken is around World War One, enquiries from the Peninsular War until recent times are regularly undertaken. Our research fee of £35 covers searches for the following, were applicable: medal index card, silver war badge card, attestation, discharge & pension papers, medal rolls, commission, London Gazette, pow records, war diaries, will forms, variation of service books, town & school rolls, Presbyterian roll of honour, Regimental histories, Army lists, M/S material & any other sources felt relevant. If any of the above are not included in your personal presentation folder, the search was unfruitful.
